Youth Sports Anonymous

I'm back, and plan to post regularly from here until the book is finished. Don't hold me to it.

In the year-plus I've been working on the book, I've gotten a lot of smiles asking this question: Ever heard of a youth sports support group? Not Youth Sports Anonymous, necessarily. Although, why not?

No one I've spoken with is aware of such a group, and I find it puzzling and unfortunate. Seems to me there would be great value in a forum in which parents share experiences, anxieties, perceptions, misconceptions. Parents whose kids have been through the youth sports wars have much accumulated wisdom. Why not share it with those signing up for that first TeeBall season?
